Confetti Glass Necklace
I think there is a definite Georgian feel about this piece, though I can't quite put my finger on why! It is, indeed, a little enigma. The central feature is an antique or vintage glass element of unknown age; most likely from a panel bracelet. Its centre has the most delightful confetti effect with lots of different coloured flecks suspended within. The oval glass panel seems to be set with paste stones, which have darkened to varying degree, creating a truely enchanting sense of age. Below the glass oval are two aurora borealis crystal drops and it is suspended from a vintage freshwater pearl rosary-type chain. The pearls are a lovely light silver grey.
The length of the chain is 38cm (nearly 15in) with the pendant element dropping an additional 3cm. I have also added a 5cm gold fill extension chain so you can adjust the length to suit.
