Rose Garden Pendant

There is something so romantic and evocative about the colours and the texture of the hand enamelled rose bloom and leaves on the brilliant sky blue background. I don't know a great deal about this beautiful vintage piece, other than it appears to be a form of enamel on glass, and has the remnants of a signature on the underside. It is set in a lovely twisted gold tone - possibly rolled gold - frame, with a pretty bezel, which seems to have a makers stamp mark on it.
 
I have put it on a new gold vermeil figaro chain, which is 46cm (18in) long. The pendant including the bail measures approx 4cm long and 2.5cm wide. If preferred though, it can be hung from a ribbon, and a gorgeous rose pink double-faced velvet ribbon will be included.
